About the NMRA
The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in order to provide a service to the hobby of model railroading.
About the Northeastern Region
The Northeastern Region NMRA is a part of the National Model Railroad Association that serves the northeastern United States including all of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont as well as parts of New York, New Jersey.
The NER also serves Canada in Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
